The Iphone 13 Would Be Equipped With a Feature That Was Missing From the Iphone 12

The rumors say that the Iphone 13 will get one of the features that was not available on the Iphone 12.

While there is still time for us to get to know the new iPhone 13 (from 2021), the rumors increase as the presentation approaches. Today we are able to already identify many of the potential features that will be found on the new Apple mobiles.

A new rumor suggests that the iPhone 13 may have a feature that was not available on the iPhone 12. This is reverse wireless charging. It would allow users with compatible wireless charging devices to charge their phones with reverse wireless charging.

We heard that the iPhone 12 would support reverse wireless charging last year, but it never happened. According to the United States FCC, Apple has left the door open to enable reverse charging on the iPhone 12. This function is not available on the iPhone 12.

Everything pointed towards Apple removing the feature at the beginning of 2021. Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman stated this. He assured us that reverse charging iPhones will not be a priority for Cupertino because it would take many years.

A new rumor suggests that the iPhone 13 will be heading in a different direction. Max Weinbach, a popular leaker claims that the iPhone 13 will have a larger wireless charging cable. This will not only improve heat management and provide higher power but it will also increase surface area for wireless charging.

Weinbach points out that Apple has increased size of wireless charging coil due to stronger MagSafe magnets in iPhones starting 2021. He also suggests that it could possibly be used for reverse wireless chargers.

This feature will support a significant increase in battery life when activated. Rumours suggest that the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s battery could be increased 18% to 4,352mAh. The rest of the series will also see an increase in autonomy.

Rumours are always speculative and should be treated with caution. We will have to wait and see if reverse wireless charging is finally available on the iPhone in 2021.
