They used the best rival weapon to beat up…The starting players of the Golden State Warriors. Phew! The Dallas Mavericks breathed a sigh of relief because they won Game 4 of the 2022 NBA Playoffs Western Conference Finals  with a 3-point show headed by Luka Doncic.

The Mavericks won 119 to 109 points with 20 triples against the Warriors and while Golden State starters Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green , Kevon Looney and Andrew Wiggins were there, Dallas took a beating sportingly speaking.

At the end of the first half of Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks, Curry and company were 15 points down on the scoreboard. The Mavs did not let go of the accelerator and came to have a difference of 29 units with a Luka Doncic who finished close to the triple-double: 30 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists.

Steve Kerr brought out the white flag and at the end of the third quarter he sent his starters to the bench. Had it not been for the Warriors’ substitutes reducing the difference from 29 to 8 points , Golden State’s loss would have been by more than 10 points. However, there was a strong message for Stephen Curry and company heading into Game 5 (Thursday, May 26 at 9:00 p.m. ET) of the Western Conference Finals.
