With a great performance by Colombian Harold Ramírez and Dominican Manuel Margot, the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday by a score of 8-3.
The ninth from Florida won all four games against the Anaheim team and thus reached its 69th victory in the MLB regular season.
On the third inning of the game, Margot would put the first runs for the Rays with a triple to the right field that drove in the annotations of José Siri and Yandy Díaz.
In the same inning, Ramírez reached on a fielder’s choice by shortstop Andrew Velazquez that allowed Margot’s run to make it 0-3.
One hit later, the Colombian would put up another run for the Rays on Isaac Paredes’ homer to right-center field.
The discount for the Angels came in the fourth inning with a home run by Taylor Ward. However, in the seventh, the Cuban Díaz and Ramírez, with two runs, sentenced the game.
The last two races for the ninth Angelina came from the hand of Shohei Ohtani with an RBI double.
With this result, the Rays arrive with a good run to their series against the Red Sox that will begin this Friday at Fenway Park in Boston.
