Component and peripheral provider Sharkoon Technologies has just announced new models of its PureWriter RGB White keyboard. With this announcement, Sharkoon now has a new radiant white edition of the popular PureWriter keyboard, which is available in two versions.
One of them is a model with a 3-block design and the other model has a TKL form factor. The 3-block version includes four additional multimedia keys above the number pad for easy access to volume control and to access the command to open email with the native application.
Sharkoon expands its range of PureWriter keyboards
The height of the key caps is 6.2 mm. Thanks to the reduced strain that this places on the wrists, it allows us to adopt a much more ergonomic posture to work all day, both at home and in the office. The user can also choose between two types of Kailh switches. Red switches are particularly suitable for gamers thanks to their linear properties and a short 1.5mm distance to the connection point. On the other hand are the blue switches, which are especially suitable for prolific writers due to their tactile properties and clearly audible feedback. Both switch types offer an operational lifespan of a minimum of 50 million keystrokes.
The lighting of the Sharkoon PureWriter RGB can be configured without software . By means of key combinations, the keyboard can be illuminated with different effects. Key combinations can also be used to individually modify the effects as the user prefers.
Included in the package are two detachable Micro-B USB cables in different lengths for the PureWriter RGB White. One is 50 cm long and the other one is 150 cm. This should always guarantee practical cable management on the desktop, by being able to use a short cable if we have a close connection, or a long one in case it is necessary.
The PureWriter RGB White 3-block version is now available at a suggested retail price of €84.90. For its part, the TKL version is available at a recommended retail price of 74.90 euros in stores collaborating with Sharkoon.
