Even Hollywood star (and former Governor of California) Arnold Schwarzenegger has decided to make a contribution against the war in Ukraine, and has asked the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, to stop the war. And he did it through a video released on social media.
Below is the video in which Arnold Schwarzenegger calls for an end to the war in Ukraine.
I love the Russian people. That is why I have to tell you the truth. Please watch and share. pic.twitter.com/6gyVRhgpFV

Here are some excerpts from Schwarzenegger’s speech:
I appeal to my Russian friends, and to the Russian soldiers who are fighting in Ukraine. […] I have always loved people in Russia, which is why I want to tell you the truth about what is happening in Ukraine. I am speaking to you with the same concern that I nurtured last January 6, when a group of crazed people attacked Washington, settling inside the government building. There are times that are so terribly wrong, when it is right to speak up and raise your voice. I know your government has told you that this is a war to denazify Ukraine, but this is not the truth. Ukraine is a country with a Jewish president, whose father had three brothers killed by the Nazis. […] This is a war wanted by those inside the Kremlin, not by the Russian people. […] I would like to ask those in power: why do you want to sacrifice these young men for your ambitions? […] Putin, you started this war, and you can end it.
The actor also spoke in his speech about Yuri Petrovich Vlasov, a Russian weight champion of the sixties who became his idol, and of whom he still holds a precious gift, as a symbol of his love for Russia and his inhabitant.
