As usual, each year the number of Mexican workers in the US labor market increases. According to a report published by the Center for Latin American Monetary Studies (CEMLA), for the third quarter of 2022, the employment of Mexican immigrant workers in the US resulted in 7,429,790 occupations.

In other words, more than seven million Mexicans are currently part of various US industries.

The CEMLA report noted that there are currently 4,847,874 male Mexican workers and 2,581,916 female Mexican workers in the United States. This represents an increase of 605,111 jobs compared to the same quarter in 2021.

As expected, the gap between the two genders widened when evaluating the new jobs generated during the third quarter of 2022. The CEMLA report indicated that 345,961 jobs were created for men, while only 259,916 jobs were created for women.
