After hosting Euro 2016 or more recently the Women’s World Cup in 2019, the French Football Federation is embarking on a new project. That of hosting the Euro 2025 women’s football. The FFF made it official via a press release published on Thursday. Driven by the Executive Committee of the FFF chaired by Noël Le Graët, this candidacy will be based in particular on the success of the organization of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France in 2019.
“Sponsored by the FFF, this file will mobilize all of French football, amateur and professional, the territories, and will highlight France’s experience and quality of reception in terms of the organization of major events. It will also be part of a responsible and sustainable approach, resolutely committed on the social, economic and environmental level. The FFF must now submit a first application file to UEFA before March 23. The validation of the final project will take place on October 12, 2022 and the designation of the host country in December 2022.
