Billionaire Elon Musk said he was indicted by Twitter’s legal team for violating a confidentiality agreement by disclosing sample size information about automated users.
Through Twitter, a social network with 93.3 million followers, the CEO of Tesla wrote: “Twitter lawyers just called to complain that I violated their confidentiality agreement by revealing the size of the verification sample of the Tesla! bot is 100!”
This occurs after last Friday, May 13, Musk announced that the Twitter purchase agreement, made in April, for $44,000 million dollars, and which was awaiting approval, was momentarily suspended pending data on the proportion of fake accounts.
“Twitter’s deal is temporarily on hold pending details supporting the estimate that spam/fake accounts represent less than 5% of users.”

Later Musk was asked by a user of the social network about developing the bot account filtering process, Musk replied: “I chose the sample size number, because that is what Twitter uses to calculate <5% fake/spam /duplicate”.
Very important to fix your Twitter feed:
1. Tap home button.
2. Tap stars on upper right of screen.
3. Select “Latest tweets”.You are being manipulated by the algorithm in ways you don’t realize.
Easy to switch back & forth to see the difference.

In addition to this, in the early hours of Sunday, May 15, the CEO of Tesla said that he has not seen “any” analysis showing that the social network has less than 5% of false accounts. “There’s some chance it’s more than 90% of daily active users ,” he said later.
This new controversy comes hand in hand with an investigation by the United States Government against Musk for the purchase he made of Twitter and his late notification to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
